Sorry Patty and all my friends. The next surgery is scheduled for October 7th. At that time they are going to try and remove the mass. if they are able to do that (and they feel confident they will) I will be back after a week or so and get tested twice a year. If they are not able to remove the mass it will mean removing my bladder. I'll keep everyone posted.

Next surgery? Did you already have one for the bladder?

Hey guys and gals,
Maury had successful surgery to remove the mass today. He is back home and resting comfortably. As I hear more you guys will as well.
Maury...I told Renee about our Text Messages tonight and she started to laugh and then said "He is such a young young OLD guy." I think that is a compliment.

Maury let me know over the weekend that the cancer has spread to his bladder muscle. He will be having surgery again shortly but will meet with his doctor to discuss options first. HOWEVER the mortality rate is 0% and he will NOT need chemo or radiation!
Please keep him and Beth and the rest of their family in your prayers.
