Hey Guys and Gals,
I am the bearer of some unfortunate news this afternoon. Maury has asked me to share with you guys that he has bladder cancer. FIRST let me stress that it is NON-LIFE THREATENING so no he isn't going to die (because of this) and even if he was (but he isn't) I have already been promised the SLK (right Maury??) so back off!!!!
On a serious note Maury went for a scope last week due to some pain he was feeling. The doctors thought it was cancer but the results weren't confirmed until today. He will be going back for surgery sometime in the next two weeks at which point they hope to remove the mass without affecting the bladder. Should that fail they will have to regroup and possibly remove the bladder.
Obviously Maury was hoping that the scope would come back negative but that wasn't the case. He and Beth would appreciate your thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks/months as they deal with this.

Crap!
I love you Maury and I love you Beth! I hope the surgeon gets this mass out as easily as possible and tells you it couldn't have gone any better. Thank you for having Hannibal keep up informed.

Maury, sorry to hear this. As mentioned over in Vintage, my brother in law had the same diagnosis. He has done very well. Hoping the same for you.
Our best to you and Beth.
