Help me find a place to move to?
Hey guys, I posted this in Off-topic, but thought you guys might have some input:
My wife and I are starting traveling for work, together. Though our company is based in Indy, since we are going to be traveling all the time anyway, and mostly to east coast locations, they don't care if we a)move back to Indy b) stay here in Pittsburgh, or c) move somewhere else near to an airport that isn't too far from the east coast.
We've lived in Pittsburgh about a year (indy before that) and we thought, hell, if we can live anywhere, might as well be somewhere nice, for the weekends we're at home (the burgh is nice, but I wouldn't mind seeing some water). A colleague suggested the Virginia Beach area, though I don't know much about it. I don't know where else to start looking, so if you could suggest a few places, I'll go and research them from there.
We'd like
-decent sized city (not too small town-ish)
-somewhere <1 hour from the beach would be great
-near ( <1 hour) to a significant airport, with quick flights to the east coast (about as quick as from Indy)
-cost of living (will be renting a place) not a ton higher than a place like Indy or Pitt (but I'll look those numbers up after I get some suggestions)
Hope you guys can help. Thanks in advance

I agree with Twisties, anywhere in SC or NC is great. How about Raleigh? Atlanta is too big and expensive. However, I personally would never leave Pittsburgh and this great club. I wouldn't get the abuse I get here anywhere else!

Your talking to the right person... I travel a little
Jacksonville, or Orlando in FL
I like Charlotte, but its not near the beach... Wilmington NC is cool
Boston is awesome, Im thinking of moving there myself... but its really cold there in the winter (like P-Burgh)
WV said Charleston SC, and I agree, that place is awesome, lots of fun.
From an airport and travel standpoint....
Orlando has the most chocies everyone flies to there and from there from all over at all times and your 45 mins from the beach. or your at the beach and 45mins from the airport
all the other places have limited travel coverage.... (other than boston, but its cold there)
Let me know where you travel too most of the time and I can help you out a little better
