Default Drive Leaders for SF10

The call is out to anyone that would like to be a drive leader or tail gunner for SF10. We will be tentatively scheduling a dry run on Sat. or Sun. April 17th or 18th. If you can make it for either of these days and are interested in helping out on this responsibility please post up. We need your help! There will be four maybe five groups going out.

All these views and no interest? Sure would be nice to get some new blood to try to keep the Allegheny Club alive. I would say its on life support at the moment. Should we pull the plug? I mean, Maury doesnt even own an S and he is still way more involved in s2ki than the average person. I'm done with my rant. I'm down for helping out, my friend. I will be out of town on the shake-down cruise weekend, though. Stacey and I will drive it ourselves and learn it. Count me in to be a leader. I have a wedding to go to in North Park on the same day of the official drive. Not sure if I will be doing dinner. May have to split time between both functions, BUT I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!

I want to help, but I have a real schedule problem - it's the weekend before Wake the Dragon, and I'm not sure I will have car car out of the shop at this point. Maurey, I can tailgun, infact, I would prefer it. Put me down as tenetive, and I will keep all informed.

And on a side note, side skirts, rear bumper, tonneau on order, hopefully here in the next week. Springs radiator, fan shroud, and underpanel have arrived. Car is scheduled in on March 19th, hopefully to the body shop on the week of March 21st. If all goes well, (and it never does) - back out the first week in April to Newbie tire for alignment. Tuned, tweaked and all spiffy for April/May meets. It's gonna be close.

Aldo - i hear ya and i am no help to the club - even though the few times we have hung out i have really enjoyed everyone With my business i rarely have saturdays off and when i do they are sometimes planned long in advance in addition to my performing and volunteer work. It makes me no fun to many extracurricular activities and i get much ball busting from friends, neighbors, etc.

I JUST REGISTERED FOR THE FIRST FLAT OUT DAY AT BEAVERUN - APRIL 3RD! Once again - low stress and alot of fun. I really think you guys and gals would enjoy so let me know if anybody has any interest.

No need to feel guilty Steel. Your business is your first priority. The purpose of my post was not to point fingers. Its just very frustrating watching the Allegheny Club on life support. Just seems like its always the core group that has to carry the weight. Maury needs help with something. It would be nice if some other people could take the plunge and help out. I have a family obligation on the day of the test run and a wedding to go to on the day of the actual event. I will find a way and do this for Maury because he is a good friend and has always been there for me when I asked him to be. I just wish there were others in this forum that would step up and make these things a little easier on the said core group. If three more people showed up at events we would have 100% more attendence! That would be huge!
