Tuning in North Alabama/SE Tenn/ NW GA?
Are there any recommended tuners in the area? I plan on adding I/H/E and an HFC and figure the only way to see any real gains is with a tune. Any assistance would be great!

1. The car is not tuneable unless it's 2006 or later. Or unless you add an aftermarket engine computer at significant expense. Plus the expensive dyno time.
2. You won't see any gains anyway. Certainly not "real gains."
If the car is 2006 or later you can get a Gernby FlashPro tune that drops the VTEC engagement to 3600rpm for some impressive mid range torque and power but the peak HP remains pretty much unchanged.

So , I guess my question would actually be. Who are the knowledgeable tuners in the area, and what engine management products/ programs are they comfortable in dealing with. I have it in my budget and would like to extract as much as possible from the bolt-ons. They are really sort of pointless without a good tune to maximize them. I don't mid spending the money on new ECUs/ piggybacks to have that capability.

Would also help to know the model year of your car. Some aftermarket ECUs need different sensors as well as just the box.
There's very little sitting there unclaimed even with an aftermarket ECU unless you lower the VTEC and make the related changes in the internal tables.

Sorry, I will be getting a 2005 S2000. I have looked at a couple of the options out there. Ballade seems to have a good system with the Doctronic. The AEM EMS is also an option. I am still in the gathering of information phase to make a decision. I don't expect a ton of extra power to be extracted without F/I, but that's not why I bought the car. I had that with my S/Ced RS4. It was fun for a bit, but the fun factor ran out since I can't really drive it like I want here.

Might want to talk with Bryant Brothers in Decatur. I have not used them -- I just know they exist. I don't know about their familiarity with S2k's but I know they've done some Civics. I'm not aware of anyone else local. I'm about to turbocharge my S and I'm undecided yet on whether to use them or head to Atlanta. Last I heard, Balanced Performance in ATL was very good, but again, that is just word on the street.
