Default Totalled my IS Friday night....

Hey guys,

Not sure how many of ya'll remember me, but I met a few of ya'll at an autocross event in Huntsville. Well friday night I totalled my IS, so I'm gonna be in the market for a new car. S2000 is one that I am looking at as well as possibly just getting another IS. Not sure yet. I'll start looking once I get all this insurance stuff worked out. But anywho, just wanted to let ya'll know that there might be another AL S2K guy around here soon.

I was on an unfamiliar road, and turns out its very curvy. Well I wasn't aware of this and like a fool i looked away for a second and when I looked back I was headed for the side of the mountain, basically exposed stone wall. I was able to turn just enough that my right fender took the brunt of the damage but it bent the frame up I'm sure. The roof is buckled behind the sunroof and the sunroof won't close. I probably might have come out better but there was this two foot wide ditch thing that was about 6 inches to 1 foot deep between the road and the wall, and when my front tired got in there, it just slammed me into the wall. Which could be better considering the otherside of the road was a 100ft ravine. Had I overcompensated, I might have ended up off that instead. But I'm alive, so all's good.

Sorry to hear about the IS 300, good thing is that you are alright...And this is why we pay obnoxious amounts of $ on insurance...For instances like this.
