Default Tires

I am going to have to get a set of tires in a few months and wanted to know opinions. I was online and was thinking about the Dunlop Direzza since it seems they are rated high and don't seem way over priced. Suggestions...

Anyone recommend a good tire person?

I personally prefer Sumitomo HTRZIII's. Both dry and wet traction are great.

I autocross these too, and they stick like glue(for a street tire)

All around good tire, i got just about 12,000 miles out of my first set of rears, AND i autocrossed on them.

EDIT: Theyre pretty cheap from tire rack. New rears only ran me 103 a piece. If i remember correctly, fronts were 80-86 range.

I've got RE-01Rs on now. They are the best tires I have had by far, of course they are the most expensive. They have out performed Faulkins RT615s, and they seem to wear better also. In the rain the RE-01Rs are very good, the Faulkins were not so good. Got around 8K on the Zeenies, and I have 2k on the bridgestones and I still have the knobs on them.

I would also look at the Sumis and some Hancook RS2s or the Star Spec Dunlops. I will probably try one of those next. The Bridgestones are awsome but they cost a lot. They even put my auto-x time down by probably 1-2 seconds.

I run Falken Azenis RT-615's. I like them a lot. I'm a frequent autocrosser.

I'll second looking at the hankook rs-2's and dunlop direzza's. I also have the Re01R's and their only drawback is price.

I'll probably buy another set of rear RT-615's until the fronts are dead, then switch out to something else after that. I like the Azenis for the $, but loved my old RE-01R's.

Depending how long the fronts last, I'll try out the Dunlop Star Specs or whatever becomes the next best tire available.
