thanksgiving driving
Just a quick caution for guys travelling for thankgiving. the cops are out in force.
I know several of the local s2k guys travel to and fro daphne and mobile.
I had a close call..Last night after a mini s2k meet at pcola. I was on my way to mobile on the I-10 bridge. Going at a good speed... saw a unlighted section on the bridge ... felt uneasy...so I lifted off the throttle.... and the suv following me moved into the fast lane and overtook me....
state police with no lights on sitting on the breakdown section on the bridge was sitting there. He pulled out and put his lights on .... flashed me and took after the suv lights flashing. SUV got the ticket. about 9pm.
This morning on I-65 northbound past exit 4. State Police with no lights on waiting on the breakdown lane waiting for speeders... again on unlighted section of interstate. abt 5am.
