Is the clutch pedal sinking to the floor and not coming back up on its own?

Check for leaking fluid on the carpet behind the clutch pedal and check for leaks from the slave under the car.

Clutch pedal feels fine has never gone to the floor and not come back up. I have started to smell something like oil burning when I come to a stop. Just a quick smell then gone. The oil level is not going down at all. I wonder if what I a smelling is break fluid hitting the exhaust. I have a new 03 Slave that I bought to get rid of CDV. I will install and see if problem and smell goes away. The clutch fluid looks ok though its about 3/4 full.

Shifting issue has returned in a big way. Clutch master and slave cylinders are fine. I installed a 03 slave to get rid of CDV about 6 weeks ago and car has been running fine but haven't drove it much at all maybe 100 miles. The problem has gotten real bad now. I might be able to drive car 20 miles and then it hangs in 3rd or fifth. I can change between the 2 gears but that's it. Once it cooled down it would shift ok but know its been sitting sense Sunday and still stuck in 3rd or 5th. Any ideas Guys? Car still has powertrain warranty till October. Anyone know if this is covered under warranty. If so a good dealership to take it too?

If you're near Huntsville, I would be happy to see if I can figure something out...

Please, continue to update us on what works and what you find the problem to be.

It was the Axel Flow short through shifter. It was only in the car for about 3 months. I put the stock shifter back in and problem stopped. I sent the shifter back to Paul at Axel Flow and they have had it for almost 2 weeks and still haven't worked on it, getting a little pissed. Has lifetime warranty but never thought I would have to send it back in only 3 months.
