Default Selling AP1 rims for Rota slipstreams?

I have a guy wanting to buy my stock rims for $600+, I can get a set of new flat black Rota Slipstreams for $550 shipped.
The buyer of my AP1's doesn't want my tires so I can throw them on the new rims until I buy some new rubber in the next month.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this?
Anyone local interested in my AP1 rims for about the $600 range or a little more if I throw in the tires?
Thanks,
Robert
aka newbie

I'd say take the $600 and run! That is a good deal for you.

I hate it, that I am the one to thread-jack, but...

Where did you find the Rotas for $550?

BTW: Everone else... An extra set of stock rims, is advisable, if you want to autocross regularly.

That seems to be the going rate, I can't honestly remember which retailer I called yesterday but I should be getting an e-mail with the info from them today.
I told hem I wanted confirmation of the offsets, etc.
I can get you a set for $600

The only thing you have to be careful about with the rotas is just be careful not to hit any potholes or anything. I have seen some break before, so they are indeed very light, but they are also not very strong. I believe the Kosei K1 wheels are pretty light and seem to hold up a little better than the slipstreams while also being inexpensive. Or if you feel like spending more money that opens you up to a whole world of stronger lightweight wheels

Allot of us BMW guys ran the Kosei K1 rims on the BMW's, thats the 6 spoke rim right?
Do they make those to fit our S2000's?

The offsets on the Rota's aren't optimum, but they work. I believe most use staggered tire widths even though the rim width is the same.

I got too much going on right now and I'd just want to dump them in favor of some nicer 17" rims after christmas so I think I'm going to stick with stockers and just get some newer rubber.
Hankook Ventus RS2's in 225/245 combo.

Weren't you the one wanting the CCW's?
Funny you post that picture, my old M3 turbo was red with carbon fiber hood and black 18" rims with a red line around the lip.
Picture somewhere on one of these BMW boards...
