Default Powder Coating Wheels

Hey Guys I am getting my wheels powder coated and having a hard time deciding what color. My car is black and I have done my interior black and red. I'm thinking about doing wheels red just not real sure what that will look like. May just stick with having them done black. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

What wheels? Black cars always look good on white rollers.

Red wheels would be very tacky IMHO.

The wheels are the stock AP2 wheels. I never thought about white. Will give that some thought. May be hard to keep white clean but the car is not a DD so maybe it wont be that big of an issue.

Wheel wax. problem solved. John said he has used the Zaino Z6 spray on his and it makes brake dust come right off.

Thats funny I just received a whole Zaino kit that I ordered last week and there's a bottle of Z6 in it. I haven't had time to use the products on the car yet, won't stop raining. Hopefully this weekend.

I would go with white as importkid stated or a satin black,or a Dark Charcoal Gray. Just my 2 cents.

White would look great. I think you can find pics of white stock rims on a BB in the gallery.

Honestly, the AP2 wheels look best with the OEM color. Black always looks cheap to me. White is decent, but not great on stock wheels. I had white AP1 wheels for a while, but my car is white so it didnt stand out much.

Talked with the powder coating place today. I think we are going to try a 2 tone white/black. Mostly going to be white with some black highlights. Will no more once they see the wheels and see how they can mask parts of the wheels off, not completely sure if they can do it yet.I got to decide if I want gloss,semi-gloss, or flat.
