Whats considered an elder in this group? I'm 34, I'm used to being one of the young guys at my BMW group functions.

At the lake this weekend my friend told me that her daughter had asked her the other day why I didn't dye my hair because she thought it would make me look so much younger. Well, there are two reasons:
1. All the young women would be after me.
2. I might end up being a Slow Poke Rodriguez like you young folks.

Ahh you can always count on CD to come in and make sense of things.
I think Rob was saying it this way to be nice.
The truth of the matter is that you should do it for yourself. We leave a mark on everything we touch and this is just one of many examples. Would you want the engineers at Honda stating "we gotz a noice in the motor...and it goes clank when ya hit da gas..but it should be aiight..if you do it when itt is hot." It would make me much more skeptical of doing business with someone that did not demonstrate more balance.
(Not meaning to single anyone out here with the use of the word "you")

For those that have not noticed, there is a Vintage S2000 Owners group:
Vintage Owners Forum
They set the magic age at 40 years old. If you qualify, you can request a badge (see mine?), to be proudly worn as a badge of honor, denoting you intimate understanding of the old adage:
"Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional."
Peace Out!
