Offset Selection

Offset Selection
Ok I've narrowed down my top two wheel selections that I would like for my S, Volk CE28n's or Volk TE37's. I want to keep the wheels at stock diameter But I want to run F17x7.5/8 and R17x9. But the only thing is I dont want to roll/flare/pull my fenders or tamper with my camber seeing that it sits and handles perfectly now. So what offsets would you guys suggest to fulfill this. Not looking for a autox car or show car but I want to be prepared if I make those decisions down the road. This is on daily driving too. Any opinions are welcome.

According to this
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/342...fitment-guide/
You should run
Front:
+48 to +52 offset: 215 tires, 7.0" - 8.0" wide wheel
+53 to +57 offset: 225 tires, 7.0" - 8.0" wide wheel
+58 to +62 offset: 235 tires, 7.5" - 8.5" wide wheel
+63 or higher offset: 245 tires, 7.5" - 8.5" wide wheel
Rear:
+40 to +44 offset: 235 tires, 7.5" - 8.5" wide wheel
+45 to +49 offset: 245 tires, 7.5" - 9.0" wide wheel
+50 to +54 offset: 255 tires, 8.0" - 9.5" wide wheel
+55 to +59 offset: 265 tires, 8.5" - 9.5" wide wheel
So basically, think about what size tire you want to run and then check what the minimum offsets needed are for mounting with no modifications.
I used this method just recently as I bought 17x7+48 on 215/45 and 17x8+45 on 245/40 and they fit fine with no fender roll, mod or bumper tab relocation.

I think Volk makes both those wheels in 17x9 +63 and 17x8 +50 which is going to be closest to the OEM wheels. Rolling is then dependent on your alignment/ camber setting and tire choice. -1.5 with a 245/40 should not be a problem but since you are lowered just a tad I imagine that same camber and a 255 tire could rub.

Thanks guys that's the info I needed. I guess I won't be going any lower. I have 5inches of clearance from my lip to the ground so I'm pretty content. ill keep the same tire profile so the only thing ill have to decide is if I want to stretch the rears a tad to reduce the rubbing. Staying close to oem is my goal when its all said and done

Thinking of selling my volk ce28n. Made specifically for s2000. 17x7.5 front +50 and 17x9 rear +63. I'm running hancook 225/45/17 front and nitto nt05 275/40/17 rear for traction (turboed). Looking to get $1700 for them. Let me know if you are interested.
