I don't believe I got around to posting this video from the last autocross.

In case I didn't, here's a compilation of three runs Rodney made.

There was supposed to be a fourth video in the mix, but SOMEONE decided to take out a cone with the camera.
(didn't hurt the camera, but it dislodged the memory card from it's slot)

Enjoy

So we have this new STR autocross class coming out and AFAIK you can run a header and piggy back ECU (have to keep OBDII). So if I were to start keeping my eyes out in the for sale section for a header which one? Not I want to add a SC when she gets paid off.

J's (Rodney you have one right?)
Mugen AP2
Toda
Hytech (probably should waste my time even putting it on here)

??? Suggestions.

Would be pretty awsome get an intake and header, tune with emanage (or just get AEM b/c I'm not going to nationals anyway). Mod the car and actually be competitive still. FTMFW

Rodney can probably help more than me.. I had a Toda, went back to stock. Not enough of a change NA or SC'd for me to justify the expense.

The piggybacks are still limited to what you can tune when compared to a AEM.

I'd probably spend the $$ on some wheels and slicks.

That would put me back in AS then. Now I got a house might get some light wheels and some R comps. It is just nice not having to worry about changing tires at the event, etc...

So many options, not enough cash....

Remember AEM has the FIC which is a piggyback also. There were some issues early on, but they might have worked them out now.

On the topic of headers, I haven't seen any good info on the mugen ap2 header. The J's has been crowned the best available though. Most comment the toda is the best mid-range header. If you've got LOTS of time and don't mind waiting, you could probably end up with a hytech. I hope to bribe a nice welder to make me a copy in the next few months. I'll keep you updated if I get around to it.

Tuning is an iffy thing. I would do that as a last addition.
