I've seen that too. After the spring expanded, it was stuck between the tower and the LCA. I

Same thing, only a axle was involved on a Accord. The "technician" is no longer with us.

I lowered a 85 Chevy 1500 on knuckles/drop shackles... Getting the springs out

C-trucks have the longest springs I've ever seen. They're never unloaded.

Eh, it was a guy at work. It needed shackles/knuckles and poly bushings in the front end. Made the miserable even worse when they sent the wrong knuckles and the calipers wouldn't fit.
