First offer rejected. They made a counter that I didn't like so I recountered. Find out tomorrow. If they don't take this one I'm moving on to the next one.

For Chris

Shock Blown? I bought another one for $60

RE-11 widest 18" is a 265.. I thought about AO48's in 235/285 but I got 6 Dunlops for less than 4 yoks.

245/285 in a matched front/rear set that isn't a race tire is hard to find.

That's just a little scuffage. You should see Russ's blown shock. It's completely dripping wet from the shaft all the way south.

Speaking of tires, I'll need rears soon and I'm fairly certain I can pick up a set of dunlops for just a bit over what 2 rears would cost me.

I see a small spot, but you're right it is wet.

Slow,
What's your opinion on oil squirters? I do realize in sleeved applications they're eliminated, but that sleeve and piston are of a different makeup. Any insight?

If the shock is damp and everything else is dry, it's a leaking shock.

I see no good reason to remove oil jets from any F2xC. Biggest reason is for piston cooling. Some of the early 2.5 IP motors ditched the jets and had failures, they later added oil jets back.

The AEBS block I had didn't eliminate the oil jets. If I build another it will have oil jets.
