Thanks. Got an idea on a glue or substance to attach it with?

I'd try contact cement.. The top is made out of vinyl.

I called AHM techline years ago about a recommended adhesive to use for the soft top repair patches.. They had no information.

Ok. I didn't know if that would be too harsh. I'm going to do some top maintenance in the next 2 weeks.

For my spot I used Tear-aid from Cabelas.

It works awsome. I also bought a vinyl repair kit and used the "glue" in it and then put the tear aid patch over it. Works great.

If that worked I'd go with a proven item.

Remove softtop, never remove hardtop. never fix holes is softtop.

Just make sure you clean the area good before you do it. I left that step out on my first patch and it didn't stick as well. Try it before you do the patch. Worst case you can take the Tear-aid off and do the patch with the extra material. The Tear-aid is only like $20. Mine has been holding strong for prob about a year no leaks and not getting worse FTW

$7.99

Get the type B. It is made for Vinyl. Def worth it. The "cement" I used under it was from a vinyl repair kit I got at walmart. I probably wouldn't even worry with that step. It is way too hard to get that shit to be smooth on the inside. Mine is lumpy as hell.

I've already got Rodney some extra OEM material, he's just gonna need the glue
