This ought to make you feel better.
My coworker got himself into a cluster of epic proportions.
He wanted to move to be an hour closer to work, so he was fairly desperate to sell his house. Had a interested buyer, but due to the market and his urgency to sell, he let it go pretty cheap and pretty much came out even on it. ...until he found out that his wife missed a payment somewhere, so when it all came out he was upside down about 3K. So closing time comes and the bank he had the loan with didn't come up with the proper paperwork, so he wasn't able to close. Fearing loosing the sale, and not thinking much of it, he went ahead and let the people move in.
...meanwhile, (and I don't know the details) something gets bungled up, and then closing never happens. his credit is already in the toilet because he got laid off for a while, and all the stuff that he didn't sell, he got late on. now he's still paying the note on his house, and the new rental house he moved into. all the while, that dude (and his kids) are living in HIS house, and wont either #1 PAY or #2 GTFO. So then he has to get into this big battle to try and evict the guy (who claims to be a good christian ). well for whatever reason, he goes to court like 3 times over that, and STILL they can't get the guy out. that goes on for almost an entire year. in that time, my buddy has pretty much lost all his toys, and had to turn his truck back into the dealer, and has ended up filing for the BK special. and STILL the guy won't get out of his house. been living there almost a year and hasn't paid dime one. so now it's the bank's problem, they should have better luck since nothing's set up to protect people who try to do the right thing and work for a living etc.

I offered to assist with that plan.
Also, the city has had this massive portable water pump at a ditch near work. I thought it would be a good idea if he decided to turn his outdoor pool into an indoor. I think that pump would accomplish that in about 3 minutes or less.

That could get nasty real fast. I got some stuff I want to do to the house that I will do one thing with probably every tax return.
I hate that about your work buddy. That sucks. Well I'm heading to
