I switched to a Macbook Pro on my last purchase and love it. I will never by another windows machine. I run bootcamp and have Windows 7 running if I ever need it. I'm not sure about the Mac Pro though. I guess it really depends on how intense the work you plan on doing is. They are really powerful but you have to pay for the performance. The one thing that I love about my mac though is it just works. I've had it a little over 6 months and never had to fix a damn thing. With my PCs, I was always having to update a driver or track down a problem with a new dll when things were updated. Jadess has a pink Sony laptop that I've warned her will be shotgun fodder the next time it has a problem.
100% PC = NEVER AGAIN.

IDK. I use the computer so much at work I really don't do much while I'm home but veg out and watch TV.

I'll build probably something else when Diablo 3 comes out.

Since my TV is on it's last leg I"ll probably get a PS3 or Xbox when I get the new tub.

Looking at a Samsung I guess. I've got a Sony grand wega right now and it has developed the dreaded blue spots, lines from a faulty design of optical block or something. Only had the tv for 5 years so I'm pretty pissed it didn't last longer. But on the other side I haven't changed the lamp yet so that is a plus (rear projection LCD). What sets you guys rocking?

I hate our computers @ work - they all suck - mine is about 2 years old & it already is full of unexplainable problems... I get a ton of spam here & next to none @ home & I am going to a heck of a lot more potentially troublesome sites @ home than I do here...

I've got a pretty bad ass one here. The software I am involved with is pretty big resource hog. Mine at home sucks now but it was top of the line when I built it back in 2003. I mainly use the company laptop at home. The desktop never even comes on unless I need to get something off of it. Saving energy and power bill FTW!

All PC all the time right now. Have a nice Dell for the work laptop and a very old Sony VAIO at home. The Sony has been awesome for a long time, but I think it is finally about to die. I have had it for over 7 years!! I want to get something powerful enough to run Diable 3 also!!

Dale, you need a Xbox360 fo sho!!!! Use Dealnews.com to find you a deal on a TV, and you will be set. Then we can kick your ass on-line in football and some shooters. Modern Warfare 2 will be out in a little over a month!!!

The campaign will not be, it is single player only.

There is a new feature, which is called Spec Ops. It is 2 player only, and you unlock new levels by earning stars. The levels include capture the flag and things of that sort.
