Once you go German car you have to accept the fact that German manufacturers believe they are doing it the right way, and everyone else is wrong.

Wheel bolts instead of studs included.

I've been looking at the 2.0T quattros. I would really like to have an S4 but they are more money.

Have you seen the stuff from APR? www.goAPR.com All on 93 octane

On the B7 2.0T
375 hp
352 tq

On the B6 1.8T
340 hp
342 tq

On the B5 S4
447 hp
467 tq

That would be one sleeper of a daily. Did you have any problems with yours Andy?

The 5 valve motors are paper weights if the belt breaks.

I would have thought they would have a chain.

It is nice to window shop Probably just going to keep and mod the S. I haven't decided if I want to stay in stock class or do STR or SM2.

It will be interesting to see how the STR class pans out. It is a nice addition. 17x9s all the way around with 255 tire limit, coilovers (up to triple adj), headers, exhaust, intakes, chassie reinforments, seats, rollbars, rotors are all allowed. That makes it a nice class to do and will take me a while before I could buy all those nice things.

Probably next thing I get will be another set of wheels to put R-comps on or a set of 6UL 17x9 for the STR class.

Chris,

Have you been following the I-vtec in the NA forum? I'm interested in this when it comes out. On one of the time attack turbo cars it picked up some 100 hp and 90 ft/lbs in the mid. Probably along the lines of 20-30 hp and tq for a NA stock car (but will need EMS).
