I wanted to thank Rob for the invite and everyone there for the hospitality. I had a great time with you guys and hope to spend some more lazy Saterdays with you guys. I left the chairs. I will pick them up next time I am home.

http://home.howstuffworks.com/beer.htm

Oh yeah and an interesting link about Brian's fun hobby that most of us were able to enjoy. Thanks for the brew too!

I did not realize this.
"The hops used to make beer are the flower of the hop vine, which is a member of the hemp family (Cannabaceae). Hops are closely related to another member of the hemp family that you may have heard of -- cannabis, or marijuana"

Why do you think beer is so popular? BTW, that link makes it look far more complex than it actually is. People (and the breweries) buy the grain already malted.

Had a great time guys (and gals). We should do this more often.

Hmm, beer bath. That soound interesting.

I keep the fermenters in the tub because the lids are airtight, and I've seen once where the airlock got clogged and blew the lid. It makes a HUGE mess. Dude had beer on the ceiling.
