Default Kermdaddy needs new tires

Ok, well the road trip has pretty much put and end to my current tires. Here is what I'm looking at:

Faulkin RT-615s (same ones I have now, but they did wear pretty fast, but I like)
Hancook Ventus R-S2 (might be discontinued)
Hancook Ventus S1 EVO (if the R-S2s are out)
Sumitomo HTR Z III (Rob liked these)

I'm probably leaning more on DD than auto-x this time. Season is almost over, have a huge lead. I will probably get another set of wheels soon so I don't daily my racer tires.

Let me know what you guys think. Any other tires can be considered, but I"m not going to shell out some big bucks for RE-01R or something like that.

I'm on the Hancook's now, they seem to be pretty good. I don't remember if mine are that particular model though. They're wearing well, although I don't DD mine so I don't know how long they last yet. I've been happy with them so far though.

I am running the Hankook Ventus R-S2 when I autocross at the Airport. I like them a lot, very sticky. The don't seem to have as stiff a sidewall as the factory Bridgestone 02's but the carve nicely for a fraction of the price.

I don't know how the perform in the rain.

I have some Fuzion's that will fit the true OEM rear tire spec. That is slightly smaller than what we choose to replace them. I will make you a hell of a deal!!!

I don't think the RS-2's come in the correct size for 17's.

I'm on my first set of 615's, so I'm not sure how long they will last. (my car is not my DD) But I like them. Probably get the same after these wear.

They make OEM sizes in the RS2s 215/45R17 and 245/40R17.

I am running 225/45 and 255/40 on the RT615s but Hancook doesn't make those sizes. I will probably try the Hancooks and see how I like them. I have heard they are better for DD, but the zeenies are better for auto-x.

I'm hoping to get another set of AP2 wheels sometime and won't have to worry about it as much.

Have you checked out the Yoko S.Drives. Thats what I'm running at the moment and they seem to wear pretty good. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...reModel=S.drive
