1.Guy comes in with a main bearing knock and a quart low on oil..
2. We pull oil pan and it's metal debris city in the pan. Big copper flakes from the mains.
3. Hondacare denies claim, due to running low on oil.
4. Guy bitches enough cuz he just bought car in Decatur, Hondacare says we'll put a used motor in.
5. Hondacare wants to pay 6.3 hours to install engine.
6. Actual time for car is 12.3 hours.
7. Call claim rep because Honda doesn't have a labor op for junkyard motors.
8. Fax clock times to hondacare guy for review.
9. Hondacare guy then leaves for the day 5 minutes later.
10. Call back and get the "must review with my supervisor"
11. Talk to them today and new guy from hondacare says I should of had engine in the car in 3 hours...
12. I inform him that if it can be done in 3 he's more than welcome to come on down and sack up
13. Oil pan on junkyard motor crushed, guy from Hondacare wants to know why we didn't replace it. Maybe cuz you don't want to pay for the motor labor in the 1st place jackass.
14. Guy wants to know why I want 12 more hours labor.
15. I tell guy that I just want my clock time and WTF made you think I want 12+ more in addition to the 6.3 when I only have 12.3 hours total.
16. guy approves new labor time.
17. guy says I should file a review for a time study.
18. I tell guy that the people I've talked to about time studies couldn't tie a shoe, and don't understand basic differences between honda models.
19. I get a happy thanksgiving from hondacare guy.

Russ had his transmission replaced by our local nissan dealer. They only put the shifter back on backwards and left some suspension bolts loose.
