ACT Pressure Plate, OEM disc, AP1 flywheel and yanked the CDV on the AP2 slave.

To quote him from this morning, "I've fallen in Love, Again"

 

I worry I'm going to have a 2nd gear issue. The tranny does not like going into 2nd the first few times on a cold morning. When it does go in on the first time, you can feel the "mesh" through the shifter.

 

What fluid you using?

 

I wanna convert my spare AP1 trans to AP2 gearing... to bad the gears cost 1K

 

Honda. I changed it last in Feb. of last year. I'm due for a change shortly. Gears are that expensive..

 

My spare has had a rough life. It was in a car that caught fire, later turned H1 race car.

The 1-2 and 5-6 syncros are hosed.

 

I recall that story. I had no idea it caught on fire though.

The car was a fire salvage... I pulled the VIN from the trans tag. Even has some dry chemical on it.

 

Tha ACT pressure plate, AP1 flywheel, CDV delete are freakin' awesome. The car feels totally different. It revs like an AP1 and shifts phenomenal. I couldn't be more pleased with it. One of the best mods so far.
