Fun painting adventures this weekend ....
We went to the store Friday night to pick out a new color for the den, bought 2 gallons of the one my wife liked best. While I was gone to a seminar on Sat, she broke it out and painted the section of wall between the bedroom and the kitchen. When I got home Sat night, she was nearly in tears because it looked rather garrish on the wall.
That meant another trip to the store on Sunday. This time, we picked out 3 colors and bought small cans so we could paint test spots on a couple of walls. One of those wasn't mixed right, so another trip to the store to get the right one.
We finally narrowed the choices down to 2, so I've spent a good part of today painting other wall sections with those 2 so we can tell for sure how they'll look in the more and less lighted parts of the room. I guess once we get a final verdict on that, I'll have to go back, get another couple of gallons of the final pick and do it all over again.
