drove the cr
I drove the cr saturday... IT WAS AWESOME. very different than my ap1. The steering was awesome and it was just a smother and nicer ride than my ap1. BUT it felt like to both me and my dad, that my car was faster

I couldn't tell a difference at all between my Ap1 and the CR. And, you are right on that part about it being slower. The CR is not as quick as the AP1. The steering on the CR is supposed to be the same as the AP1. It's different than the AP2, they just went back to the original steering ratio on the car. The only real difference in this car is the appearance and the handling. It's got bigger, stickier tires and a more racetrack tuned suspension. Oh, and it is lighter and less practical. Takes two to remove the hardtop and store. No spare tire. The real deal killer for me was finding out that it is slower than the regular S2000. And I just didn't want a hartop S2K. To each his own, but I love the power soft top. That is one of the coolest tools in the S2000's box.

I wish they made a S2K Coupe, I do like the soft top but like hardtops better, they are lighter and stiffer than a soft top car. Plus, you dont have to worry about the top tearing or getting vandalised, lol.
