Drove 12 Hours for an OEM Hard Top, Haven't Bought and S2000 yet
Drove from Enterprise to Nashville today to buy this OEM Hardtop. Hopefully I'll have a car this weekend, going to Mobile to check a couple out.
Has a bit of paint damage from falling off the makeshift stand the owner was using, but since I don't know what color car I'm buying yet... It was more than likely going to have to be painted anyway.
Also gotta pick up atleast some OEM front latches and hardtop strikers. It came with Izzy front and rear latches, so I'd like to pick up all the OEM hardware at some point, but at the price I got it I can't complain too much.

first thing congrats on the hardtop. many of us are looking for one; I still kick myself for not buying them in the early days when they were cheap...
Second thing is to take your time to find the s u want. Nothing will sour the s experience more than fixing the previous owners riggings or damages. Couple of my buddies found clean s2000s at more than fair prices if u wait and know what u want.
Good Luck on the search.

Yeah I've looked at several so far and haven't found the right one for me. Heading to Mobile Friday to check out one that I think might be the one I end up buying if it checks out and is really as nice as it looks in the pictures/ owners description over the phone. A buddy decided he wanted my car when I told him I was looking for a S. He will be flying in tomorrow from Huston to pick it up and drive it back, so I'll be borrowing a car from a family member until I find what I am looking for.
