Default Ceramic Tint?

Has anyone had ceramic tint installed? If so, where and are you happy with their work? I can't seem to find anyone in Huntsville that does it. I don't mind driving. I need to go to Atlanta to audition some speakers anyway.

It's just nano ceramic in the tint which is supposed to block a lot more heat than the normal tint film.

Wincos film is supposed to be the best at blocking heat:

That's what I have on the Accord. I got it done at XTreme Window tinting in Franklin, TN:

It really is much more effective at blocking heat. They have a display there with a heat lamp set up. You can stick your hand under the heat lamp with no tint, regular tint, and Wincos tint. The difference between regular tint and Wincos tint was dramatic. It definitely justified the cost for me. If you are tinting just for looks then get the cheaper stuff, but if you want to block out heat, get the Wincos.

I remember a little about it when I got my Z tinted years ago. I personally wouldn't pay the extra over some nice regular tint.

I think that's what I got done, but it's been so long I don't remember. NoS's buddy's shop hooked me up. Did a great job, still flawless now.

Nope. I checked with them first. No ceramic. In touch with the tint maker's regional sales rep now. Got a place in Atlanta and waiting to hear from the Tennessee rep. I've been wanting to head to Frye's in Alpharetta anyway to listen to some speakers.

I did mine with Formula One ceramic tint for $209, it's a little pricey, but it blocks the heat like nothing else. I think with the soft top it's hard to reap the benefit, but if you have a hardtop it you should see a difference.
