Thumbs down Barber April 5-6 FTW!

So far I'm the only S2000 signed up... I'd say it's your duty as an S2000 fan to make sure that my car's not lonely. Also, if I'm the only S2000 there, people will assume that all S2000 owners go 12-18 months between car washes - you wouldn't want that.

CMS, like NASA, seem to require a rollbar for open roadsters at Barber.

This'll be my 3rd or 4th time at Barber with Chin, and I've been there once with NASA. My car is completely stock. The stock roll hoops are enough for both organizations.

Good to know.
I assume these were all Level 1-2 HPDE or equivalent.

I hope your right paying that entry fee and getting turned away would be quite a let down. I know scca requires a roll bar that is at least 2 inches above the helment, and that the stock hoops are not enough.

I debated on joining chin motorsports just to attend the barber events considering there is 2 events on the calender this year. 599$ for 2 tracks days really isnt that bad of a deal at all.

I know he's run at barber several times before without issue.

How did I miss this thread?

Barber is definately my favorite track. I've seen barber claim 2 totaled out mustangs and a nice m3, and lots of sand box ownage.
