The Gulfcoast Region SCCA will be having a two day autocross event on October 23rd and 24th, 2010 @ Brookley Airfield in Mobile Al.
********** Be advised: No spectators. Due to wanting to use all of the airstrip we're on, we don't have room for extra vehicles and spectators. Only registered drivers will be allowed access. **********

Here are the details:


There are only 30 seats available. The October 23rd and 24th event will be a two day event consisting of a test and tune day on Saturday, and the “early bird” GCR finale on Sunday morning. Events breakdown are as follows:

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010

0900 Course Open (you may arrive and leave at your convenience)

1200 Lunch Break (Lunch will be provided, please bring your own drinks)

1500 Shutdown


Sunday, October 24th, 2010

0800 Drivers meeting

0830 FOD/Course walk

0900 1st car on course

1200 Lunch Break will be decided based on event length

After Event Pack up and FOD walk



Prices will be as follows:

GCR Members

$30 per day

$50 both days



Non GCR Members

$40 per day

$70 both days

Really want to go to this. I will be in Montgomery by then for a TDY, but unfortunately I cannot commit in time.

Left front A6 is as hard as a brick and started showing cords in spots. Switched to STR set and shaved 1.4 secs. Tinkered with FSB and turned car into an oversteer monster. Fun event! Here's some videos and pics...
