Behold the World’s Fastest & Baddest Honda S2000!
With 1,500 horsepower and rubber for days, this outrageous S2000 can reach over 200 mph in the quarter-mile!
Some of you folks may be outraged at a drag-race-prepped Honda S2000. Yes, we know the small and agile little Honda was designed for a completely different driving discipline. But we can’t knock on anyone who has spent this kind of time, effort and money into their S2000 build.
Whether you like it or not, this bad boy isn’t just the fastest S2000 in the world, but it’s also the baddest we’ve ever seen. If you don’t believe us, just check out these two videos courtesy of FuelTech USA and That Racing Channel.
According to one of the video’s description, the 1,500-horsepower F22 engine averages approximately 375 horsepower per cylinder!
These two amazing pieces of footage do an excellent job at highlighting this red devil. The talking and narrating is kept down to zero, and allow the images to do the talking. While the outright speed is the most impressive thing about the S2000, the quality of the craftsmanship and the professionalism of the team certainly stand out.
The video published on October of this year shows the S2000 running the quarter-mile in 6.78 seconds at a whopping 203.46 mph, while the other one published in February registers a 6.94-second quarter-mile at 186.74 mph. Clearly, the boys were busy during the middle part of the year and it seems their efforts have paid off.
But enough of the boring stuff, check out the footage and see for yourself!
