Honda’s Latest Advanced Safety Vehicles
ITS-Safety 2010 public demonstration (sponsored by the ITS Promotion Council) will be held on February 25 – 28, 2009 in Tokyo, Japan. Honda announced that it will demonstrate the latest Advanced Safety Vehicles, including automobiles, motorcycles and electric carts, which are equipped with the latest active safety driving support features.
The design of the Advanced Safety Vehicles will exchange speed and positional information as well as other data between two or more vehicles or between multiple type of vehicles. A part of the project is the communication and exchange of data between the vehicle and road infrastructure, in order to provide information to the drivers that may help to prevent a potential accident.
