Updated Honda Civic Type R Spied Running the Nurburgring

Our friends at Honda-tech.com have delivered the goods, showcasing the 2020 Honda Civic Type R testing at the famed Nurburgring. While they have the full report on the differences, we wanted to quickly touch on the highlights.
First up is the color, as is appears that a Phoenix Yellow hue may be returning to the Type R nameplate. This is definitely a good thing, in our eyes. Championship White is cool, but with such bold exterior styling, going bright makes perfect sense to us.
Speaking of bold exterior styling, the other biggest update is actually the smallest one. It appears that Honda is planning on offering a second Type R trim that replaces the large rear spoiler with a small one. It’s like a Civic Type R Sleeper Edition.
