S2000 vs. Porsche Cayman: Touge Battle

S2000 vs. Porsche Cayman: Touge Battle

We are going to look beyond the questionable legality of this “touge” run.

Street racing is illegal, and everyone at S2KI obviously recommends that you not go and do it. Trust me in particular, got busted years ago and it was a nightmare. That said, beyond the extra-legal speeds here, for the most part, this is a great romp through some completely abandoned roads.

Now, the owner of this AP2 calls it the “touge,” though it looks more like the fast, winding roads found in the rural Midwestern/Eastern United States. Just a guess. In any case, both this S2K driver and the person caning that Porsche Cayman clearly have run through the area a time or two before. Watching the S2000 driver row through 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears, over and over is a lot of fun. Whatever exhaust setup the car has sounds great. Of course, the Cayman has the legs over the S2K in the straight line. However, the S2000 is catching the Cayman up in the corners.

This “touge” run is a fun watch, with a great soundtrack, so give it a watch. Or a listen, that works, too.
