Honda to shutdown the European Design office

This hit us like a bomb, when we confirmed the rumors that Honda is actually going to shut down their design offices in Germany. The design department is part of Honda’s Research and Development Center located just outside Frankfurt, Germany. The comforting news is that the rest of the facility will continue operating, but maybe in the future the offices will be transferred to Honda’ s much smaller design studio in Milan, Italy. Lets see what else are they going to withdraw or shut down in the future, because so far we’ve seen no more Formula One, no NSX and no S2000 successors.
