The S2ki Community Responds…
Many of you are aware of the recent passing of S2ki site moderator Travis Hunt (dreamcation) and have responded with an international outpouring of truly kind words and very 
thoughtful donations for his widow and young children. The support has been wonderful and so very much appreciated. It is truly a tribute to the wonderful community you all have built here through S2ki, and it shows that we really are a family.
The memorial service for the Hunt family and close friends was held this past Saturday, but there will be a special commemorative event held in Travis’ honor on Sunday May 7th. SoCal forum moderator Mike Trinh (BackCracker) had this to say about organizing this memorial tribute:
Tragically, Travis’ death has become a burden on us, and especially his wife and 2 kids. As my duty of a CO, and more importantly as a friend, I call to the S2ki.com community to help me celebrate his life, and send him away.
The event will begin with an honorary caravan drive followed by a short memorial service. There will later be a BBQ, raffle, and other activities to raise funds for the family. (The BBQ is free to all in attendance, but donations will be encouraged)
