Default Ebay AP2 Foglights Review

The install for the SPEC-D fog lights were pretty straight forward, but requires removal of the front bumper and the headlights. You also need to drill two holes in order for the fog lights to be fitted. I mapped it to the parking lights.

a buddy of mine helping me out.

The ebay DRL fog light outputs a pure white light.
While our s2000 lights are more of a soft, warm white. Having side by side you can see the hint of yellow.

pictures are taken with poor lighting condition and with a iphone 4s

Now my friend says when my car is from a distance, the cut offline and the color of the leds are pretty similar.

Picture was taken close to the cut offline.

It doesn't look bad, but it does look ricey In my opinion, the fog lights have to be black housed because the s2000's headlights are. I will update the look after i have it finish. I am still debating of keeping the lights white or yellow. I want it to be yellow, because it would match closer to my daytime running lights and parking lights (06+ s2000). However, people say, yellow is the new blue. The new rice. I can see where they are coming from even if yellow is a more functional color. If i do decide to go white, i might have to change my hi-beams, and perhaps even my HIDs to become more of a similar color scheme.

I need some opinions because my mind hasn't been set yet. Would appreciate your feedback.

more to come in a few days

UPDATE 5/30/2014

These FOG/DRL lights are holding up great. They still are just as bright and every led is functional. I never had water issues/leaks.

If I didn't put brake ducts into those holes, I'd probably get a set of these. but, as it were... performance > additional lights

I am afraid removing your front bumper is the only way. When i first got the lights, i was trying to decide if there was any possible way to install them without removing the bumper. It's impossible. You won't be able to mount them correctly and won't have access to wires.

Removing the front bumper isn't difficult. Putting it on with factory alignment isn't as easy.

Nice job. Looks much better this way. I think I might go this route when the weather gets nicer around here.

Do you have any close up shots with them blackhoused, and not turned on? Was it difficult to do, or did you just tape over the led's, and spray paint the reflector material?
