Default Lexan Window Tint

I just purchased a replica Mugen hardtop with a scratch-proof rear lexan window. My usual tint guy says that Lexan cannot be tinted because gases escape and make the tint bubble. Another local tint place will do it but won't warranty the work. Those of you with lexan windows, did you tint them? Did it stick or bubble? I was thinking about using a static sheet or nite shades if tinting doesnt work. Opinions?

I actually asked the same question about a year ago and I was suggested to use the tint spray cans but I never got a chance to do it yet.

imo better in the long term, to get a piece of tinted lexan cut using your window as the template.

mines 6mm tinted and its lasted for 3 years, perfect like the day it was installed.

I was actually considering that. Your looks great. I think I'll spray tint the clear for this upcoming winter season and invest in a window like yours next season. Thanks.

xoz...Do you have more pics of your ride somewhere? I'm ready to purchase the Mugan Replica and I have Silverstone as well...I'm debating between silverstone top with black sides...Full black top....Or Full Carbon top...Would love to see more angles...You have any without tint?

Thanks a ton...
