Default Look at my car and help me SUGGEST the PERFECT wheel?

my GPW and as we all know wheels make or break the car!

Currently I'm nearing my completion stage of this final s2000 build and the car sits on coilovers and super lightweight/rare 2002+ NSX OEM wheels which are very nice and best of all (free) but I think it lacks the "WOW" factor....

I'm running 17x8.5, 17x9 right now and pretty mild offsets since this is my DD and I need to be able to drive the car normally. This means NO STRETCHED wheels or crazy offsets that eat up my fenders!!! I've been there, done that

My requirements are the wheels must be 1-piece, lightweight unless I end up going with another set of LM's which I'm trying to avoid as I already have them on my other ride.

Since my car has yellow accents I would not mind trying a set of yellow wheels if the look is just right, what do you guys think?

Price is no object but quality is a must! (I know Spoon makes a yellow wheel but it looks awfully CHEAP, dose Advan make the RS wheel in yellow?)

thanks for your suggestions
rick

this is how my car looks right now stance wise:

Well personally I would leave it as is, cause I think it looks great, especially from the rear. What about powdercoating the NSX wheels a custom yellow, or a gloss black? I think yellow would look a little silly though, and in a year you might be over it.

If you are deadset on getting something else, I would look into Enkei PF01SS in 17 x 9 +60 all around.

Or, since you have no budget, how about some Volks? I know they do custom color for a little bit extra.

Lastly, what about one with the SBC finish. It will give it the flash you are looking for, but doesn't add weight and is not like a cheap chrome wheel. I sold my Advans because I wanted to go the track route, but I loved the finish: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/857...redsbc-finish/

^thank you for your suggestions!

I'm not deadset on anything right now - just looking for an improved look but I agree with you the nsx wheels are pretty clean looking too. I just like to have extra wheels so I can change the look whenever, not selling the NSX wheels for sure!

Volks are played out just like the movie F&F, no thanks I don't care how limited edition the TE37 reincarnation is! haha

I do like the Advans you suggested - a friend of mine has those on his NSX in 18/19 and they look awesome but for 17's they look too small IMO.

Let me poke around around the ADVAN website today.

Yes, they were really nice and great quality. In Model T5 I see 18 x 7.5 +50 and 18 x 9 +45...would work with stock tire sizes or a minor roll.

What about these?

I'm REALLY feeling this wheel - but need a darker gun-metal color for sure (that yellow tag is not part of the wheel right?)

1nate7: thanks for you suggestion but don't like the RG-D on the s2000, those curved spokes on a 17" wheel make it look too small. (btw I do love ADVAN wheels and have the RS-D on my IS-F but in 19" matte black and they fit the Lexus well)

Yeah, yellow is part of the wheel. They actually are a decently dark color depending on lighting. The guy LAW on here had them till he parted his car out...https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/710...onized-by-law/

His are more aggressive sizes though, 17 x 9 +35 and 17 x 9.5 +35

You should go with the AP Racing BBK too to add some yellow...
