Default Motul 300V 5W30 UOA

Includes multiple track days, two of which were in 100+ degree ambient temperatures, and mixed street driving.

very consistent results, I assume you were using the same oil over all intervals listed as the oil make-up looks similar. The oil has a nice additive package. I'm personally like to see single-digit iron wear numbers on this car, but considering the track days on your car the iron wear numbers are pretty good

Thanks for posting these reports! Awesome.

Ring, piston, and bearing wear looks great. The iron wear is a little higher than what we usually see, but not alarming. It's very consistent too.

Did you ever do a VOA of this oil? I'm wondering because the viscosity at 100C shows it might be thickening some at times.

Very good result considering the track time and the high temps this car sees. remarkably consistent. Additive chemistry seems similar to Red Line Oil ... especially the high moly.

Viscosity is also remarkably consistent with that one showing some possible thickening ... but I wouldn't rule out a flyer in the data. These lab results aren't 100.00% dead on ... there is some margin of error built into them.

What filter are you running?

As Blackstone remarked, I think you could stretch out the interval some to 5,000 - 5,500 miles next time with no worries.

I've been running the OEM PCX from Honda.

I do have a VOA, but some yahoo on BITOG is actually claimed that it is his. I've sent in another sample, as I no longer have the original PDF; I'll be posting it as soon as I receive it.

Very impressive considering the useage. Are you running an upgraded oil cooler? I was getting extrememly hot oil temps at the track with the amibent only being 85F.

I'm not running any cooling (or any performance) mods at all. This is all on the stock oil cooler and stock radiator.

I did feel like I was overheating my flywheel from all the shifting at SoWS (~14 shifts a lap on a 1.8 mi course)...

The only modifications I run are clutch/flywheel and baffled oil pan.

You might help the oil cool some if you take the front license plate off while you're at the track (that's if you have one).
