I don't get it, you're asking the difference between an entire exhaust system and a single standalone component?

Yes the difference of the resonator only, construction, and how it effect exhaust tone/ loudness.

Google is your friend....

All of Magnaflows are straight thru design wether its the resonator or the mufflers at the end

Hushpower mufflers are similar but there not true "straight thru" but there not chambered like flowmasters original design

as far as sound Youtube is your friend but based on looks the hushpower would probably quiet it down more.

anything straight through (magnaflow) will be loud be design but will flow very well. There is a compromise imo. also depends on other exhaust mods you have upstream and how many resonators, length, etc you have. Also what you consider loud to be.

Mehh, just get the biggest resonator possible. Volume = sound supression.

Also, don't run a test pipe, that makes things louder.

Thanks for the information.

My S that I just purchased came with this extra exhaust setup. Hushpower resonator and magnaflow mufflers. The previous owner said it was to loud for him and put the stock pipe back on. So I'm going to put it on this weekend to see how it sounds.
