dissappointing run vs 350Z
I was at the local drag strip. My first two races were against a 300zTT. We split, he won the first & I won the second. I went to the bleachers to watch while my engine cooled, and I'll be damned in there isn't a spankin new 350Z just pulling into the staging area. I watched him on his first run...14.5. I thought, well, I know I can take that w/o spraying, lets see if he wants to run. I met him back in the staging area and asked if he wanted to go. I didn't tell him about the bottle in my trunk because I didn't use it on him. Anyway, we line up and I wasted him...by buslengths. I ran a 14.1, and he ran a 15+++. I just wish that he would've been a better driver...My wife was watching from the stands and said he peeled out a bit too much off the line and missed a gear. I sure hope that wiss2k vs 350Z is a better driver matchup than my matchup tonight.

SWATE-Z
I was just at the track tonight, first time I took the Z, and when I was in line someone asked me if I wanted to race an S2K. I gladly accepted knowing that the Z could easily handle it. But when he pulled up I heard a slight hum coming from his car. Turned out he had a 100-shot of NOS in it that night. Needless to say, he raped me. He ended up running a 13.67 so there wasnt much competition. I know how much Z owners hate admitting to losing to the S2K but I thought this one was an exception.

I'm sure that guy when he got back to the bleachers saw the same S2000 that smoked him run a faster time, so he just assumed the NOS was used agasint him as well. Cuz I mean, the Z can easily handle a stock S2000. LOL!

Well, at first glance, I look at the obvious differences in the stories. Scott said he ran a 14.1, the Z owner said the S2K ran a 13.67. Either these were different races, or someone is lying.

What if the S2000 ran a 14.1 against the Z, but then later he used the NOS and got the 13.67? The Z could then say "He ended up running a 13.67".
So you are right, we either need some clarification, someone is lying, or this story is just a coincidence.
