Nissan publishing LIES about the S2000
This proproganda claims the S2000 has a timing belt (instead of chain) and says a full sized stock wheel will not fit in the trunk. It also implies the 305Z is better at braking and cornering. See:
I wonder if Honda can sue Nissan for publishing these outright lies?

They should compare a convertible to a convertible. Not a coupe to a convertible. That part alone makes this article sad.
The Z has more cargo room and can hold a spare tire, yet it doesn't have a drop top....and the cargo room is only slightly larger! LOL!

What's funny is they brag about their bigger brakes and beefier suspension components without explaining why they need those things. The cars weighs 500 pounds more than the S2000!!!!!! This is truly desperate actions by a desperate car company that is finally putting out some decent cars after years of mediocrity and financial problems.

What a crock! I had respect for the Z, but this is just dirty pool. Maybe if you stand the friggin tire up it would fit. Total propaganda. I hope Honda sues the paint right off of Nissan.

First rule of sales:
Never attack your competition (although the two cars really don't compete) with negative comments. It makes you look as if you have something to hide or prove. All in all it's in bad taste.
Next Nissan will be saying that the Boxster S smells too much like Sauerkraut.

It's funny how the comparison stops at the performance times. I didn't see the S2000 listed on the 0-30, 0-60, 40-60 or quarter mile chart! It's great to have more HP and torque but it doesn't mean a whole lot if it won't win the race.
How about the head room numbers? Yesterday I looked up and saw clouds! That's serious head room.
Of course there is that S2000 "numb" steering response... NOT!
As far as cargo room goes, lets see them put two sets of clubs in the car with that rear cross brace.
I guess they didn't read the owners manual explaining how to get the full size tire in the trunk.
Losers!

This sounds like one of those ads that a political campaign puts out to throw dirt at another politician. How much you wanna bet that the driver of the z was paid hansomely for his evaluation of the Z. While I do like the new z and would even consider purchasing one why was their any need to publish a direct attack on the s2000 unless nissan felt their car was in some way mediocre to honda's accomplishment?
This test sounds kind of frantic to me
