Default My Trip to France - Lots of Pics

Last week was in France driving all over the place. Covered 2800 KM in Five days, and that is From Calais to Calais, not including UK Travel! Had a most fantastic time, and the weather was lovely, especially down on the Riviera Many thanks to potfish for recommending an excellent route accross the Alps, and sorry we couldnt meet up

Anyway I wont Ramble cos pics say a thousand words and all that:

At Dover packed and ready to go:

We got to Calais (no pics it aint very pretty) at around 19/20.00 on Sunday night, Drove down to Reims, and found a closed campsite by midnight got an Hotel Automatique - which was cool, stick your credit card in and get a keycard out for a room

Excellent photos AE, and glad you enjoyed the route I recommended. I can show you more routes in person next time if you come here. By the time I read your dad's PM I was totally hammered so no chance I could meet you Need to stop doing that on Monday nights but I had an excuse as Emily was visiting.

By the way, your car's got its steering wheel on the wrong side.

Glad you had a good time, Ian.
We went there in June and it was as beautiful as your pics show. The roads are lovely, the scenery is lovely, and it seemed to me the people were very friendly too.

Will definitely be going again.....Le Mans next year p'raps?
