The following pictures depict an accident that happened around a month ago in South Africa. The car belonged to a board member on the bimmer.org E46 M3 forum (MK Boy - real name Simon), who passed away in this terrible accident. Simon's passenger was taken to a level 1 trauma ward and, as far as I know, survived. While driving at high speeds, his M3 crashed head-on into a heavy duty freeway interchange light post. Both driver and passenger were wearing a seat belt and all of the airbags deployed properly, but obviously that wasn't enough to save Simon. He'll be missed by all of us on the bimmer.org board and hopefully these images will make everyone who sees them think twice about racing on the street.

RIP MK Boy...

Cheers,

Kevin
