i would do vinyl first...much cheaper and will be easy to remove once you get sick of it few months later.

Vinyl would be your best option.

Is this what you plan on doing?

I pictured two strips going down the center of the car, id thought it looked tacky. But those lines... look amazing! I agree, vinyl is best. there are probably local shops that can do that for you.

Who cares if people shout, "tacky!".

This is a cosmetic mod, to your car.

If it makes you smile to see it, that's all that it has to do.

Man I've wanted to copy Magnus Walker's Porsche stripes on my car for the longest time, I've got a sebring silver. I just don't know if the lines would work on the S2000 body. So often when you bring up stripes on the S2000 people on this forum go all nuts on you, like it's sacrilegious or something.

I love this look though

Thank you for posting more pictures.

I am gathering that people feel that S2000s should not have stripes. I can understand that the lines of an S2000 do not necessarily support stripes.

However, it appears that people are doing some cool things.

Keep the pics coming!!

I've wondered this, or the GT 40 Gulf blue and orange.

Did see a new Miata with some OEM side decals, looked smart

There's always the Porsche style

GT40 Style

And there's always this:
