I want to do a Cranfills Gap run on Saturday April 10th I have a super twisty route to Cranfills Gap planned already!

Cranfills Gap

Meet in Cresson, Texas meeting between the Exxon Station and the Shell Station on the corner of 171 and 377

Meeting at 9:30am sharp. You will need to top off your tank at the gas station so please be early rather than late.
This drive will last well into the afternoon.

Lunch will be in Hico, Texas at the Koffee Kup Kafe

After lunch a fairly straight route will be planned to go back to the metroplex

Cranfills gap could be done in an all day saturday event couldn't it? Just leave early and get home late? Out of all these I've only done the turbine drive but i'll make it a point to be ready for whatever

Richard, if we can get Simon on board for a Cranfills Gap run starting early in the morning I would be all for it! If Simon isn't then we have to stick to the other two options. I am leaning towards east of I-75

I live SW of Cleburne and could make the Cresson one very easily.
I am probably 25 mins from there.

Holy sh%t guys, Cransfills Gap is down close to my neck of the woods.
I drive farther to go to work than I do to get to Cransfills Gap.

I would go 29.1 (Short cut through the Boonies)miles North to get to Cresson and then turn right back down towards my house when we leave LOL.

I am driving to Gatesville tomorrow going right down 174-->6--> to some boonies stuff it's a very nice drive. But first I go down this crazy zig zag thing over Brazos Point to get to 56 to get to 174
