I just sent that to all my Porsche buddies...it's amazing that were keeping up with him and that he want off track. Nice job man!

I'd been chasing the CGT for about 5 laps. Getting closer and closer to him back through the corners. I'll have to post video of the acceleration of the CGT down the 3,500 front straight.

Driver of the CGT was a nice guy. We had a lot of fun going back and forth that day.

 

Doesn't seem to save as an .AVI file. It dowloads as google video file.

 

The guy in the cgt was more worried about you than his own driving.

 

Seeing a Honda catching up over the course of 5 laps to your $450k Porsche will do that to you.

Like I said, the owner/driver of the CGT was a great guy. The MMP track is long (4.5 miles) with 23 turns. Alan Wilson intentionally designed the track with very few reference points and some deceptive turns.

Nice driving. Porsche driver was all over the place. You could see he totally blew that last corner before he went off. Just goes to show that the driver's more important than the car.

One of those CGT's went off into a wall at VIR earlier this year.
