I thought some of you might be interested in the current car Lee (FieldL) and I have knocking around my house at the moment.

Just about to get some kip when I received a message about this post.
Thanks Moggy for writing this up.

First time I've seen the pics too

It certainly makes a difference driving a 20 year old car First of all it feels tiny and then there is the 'feel' and you realise how removed from the road newer cars are.

Lets just say the first few months have been a steep learning curve and I'd love to have more time, space and knowledge. Hey it'll come. Reading the blue book was an insight.

I think it's fair to say we have spent a reasonable amount of cash to get the car to the state where with the exception of the engine it is in good condition. Still needs some bushes here and there and other 'rubber' bits. It really helps having a friendly mechanic who you can trust. Even though he has had the car more than we have. Looks interesting at his place mixed in the other exotica that is normally there.

Will post some other thoughts as we go. We need to get over and test the new suspension soon and get it setup and then get it back out for some

Oh yes it goes sideways well

Forgot to mention - the car is part BMW part Aston Martin.

Apparently they had trouble fitting the Spax suspension so, in the words of the mechanic "we borrowed some bits off the Aston Martins in the garage to make it fit"
